Introduction to Computer Labs & Simulations
| Introduction | Current Listing | Additional Learning Resources |
All accounting students need strong computing skills, especially with spreadsheet and word processing applications. Unfortunately, it can be challenging for both students and educators to simultaneously address computer and accounting skills and knowledge. These labs and simulations are designed to attack this challenge by providing web-based learning modules that can be used either in conjunction with accounting courses or in self-study:
Labs- their primary purpose is to help students learn new computing skills (a.k.a., learning to compute);
Simulations- their primary purpose is to help students assimilate new accounting knowledge through the use of computers (a.k.a., computing to learn).
