What changes could be made to improve learning in this course?

Section 01

None. Very good teacher.

More examples from the book.

I don’t think I would change anything about this course, but maybe over all explain what aspects each chapter affects in accounting.

Extra problems to work through.

A workshop session where students who feel open to the idea can work together to study and share concerns.

The multiple choice on the tests were worth too many points and were way too hard.

Breaks during a two hour session.

I don’t think I would change anything, it is good the way it is.

I wouldn’t change a thing, great class.

I get the feeling that there is just a little too much material for two quarters, but not enough for three.

The instructors attitude, don’t say things like “frankly, I don’t like dealing with people and people don’t like dealing with me” on the first day. You bring the moral of the class down right there and make them feel you are not a resource for help.

Section 03

Get rid of the crosswords.

Get rid of the web quests.

I think we need more practice with each section we study. The test counts to much of our grade. Only three tests makes it hard to recover.

Five days of class instead of three.

More funny videos. Just kidding captain Ron.

Curves would be ideal as mean on tests were so low.

To improve learning in this class I would choose a different room with more comfortable chairs, they are too squeaky in this one.
