What changes could be made to improve learning in this course?

Ellensburg

Some of the webquests were lengthy. Overall I really enjoyed Ron.

Making sure everyone was getting you emails. SUA had nothing to do with this course. Should be used in a different accounting course. Webquest had little to do with the course content.

The assignments were worthless - They were tedious and boring. They were never returned with feedback so you never know how to improve on them either. The lectures were boring also. The material could have been more interesting if presented in another way. Also, I never really felt like we actually focused on Accounting. Information system in the work environment - only conceptually. The webquests were so boring and useless.

Get rid of group projects. The majority of DE students are adults working full time with families and extra time is hard to find. If there is a learning objective for working with others then facilitate the process and teach group skills.

I don’t enjoy group projects.

If projects are going to be assigned, I feel the instructor should spend more time throughout the quarter going over it. I don’t feel that creating a web page is appropriate for this type of class especially when majority of students don’t know how to create one or have the software to do it.

Group assignments are not fair when half of the group does nothing. The individual assignments were helpful.

For those of us with no website experience the web assignment instruction made no sense.

Change the background on powerpoint to read better. Class schedule needs to be organized a little better in boxes so you know where the box is. The SUA is not that useful.
