Knowledge Management WebQuest- Introduction

Knowledge management is the art and science of capturing the knowledge that exists within an organization such that it can be shared with and used by other members of that organization. It is heavily dependent on networked computers which are used to collect, store, and distribute the knowledge in a timely manner.

Implementing a knowledge management system is a daunting task. In particular there are problems with motivating those who have the knowledge to share it and providing a system that is integrated into normal workflow.
