Enkoder Illustration/Demonstration

Automatic, Ltd. provides the Enkoder software and online service for the purpose of encoding email contact information for use on web pages. Once encoded and pasted on a web page, the email address can not be harvested by web bots/spyders deployed by spammers.

The first step is to provide information about the email address, as illustrated in the graphic to the right. Click on that thumbnail to see a larger version.
The second step is to encode that information using the online service or the downloadable software. The text to the right is the result of the encoding process for the information illustrated in the graphic above.

This is the text that a spammer's bot would search. Note that there is no clear text containing the indicators of an email address, i.e., the @ symbol followed by a domain name.

The final step is to place the output from the encoding process into the web page at the desired location. The link to the right illustrates how the encoded information displays on the web page.
