What aspects of the teaching or content of this course do you feel were especially good?
Ellensburg
The use of technology. Of the classes I've taken in the MPA program so far, this was the best.
Making everything available for the course on a web site was really helpful. Immediate feedback on questions.
The various assignments and research exercises were useful. The testing style worked well given the complexity of the material.
Great class and a great professor. It would be nice if there were more professors like him in the masters program. The tax returns were great in helping learn the different concepts. Tax research and tax cases were very helpful in getting to know the tax law.
Good use of available technology and resources. Provided useful feed-on questions. Answered questions in a timely manner.
Using the CCH tax is very helpful.

The use of the web site technology in a distance education setting was excellent. It allowed timely submittal of assignments and provided a forum to give student timely feedback. Other DE professors should look to Ron Tidd to determine best practices for their DE classes.
Outstanding use of Internet, email capabilities to communicate considering distance issues. Ron made the distance and remote contact very transparent, kept us very involved. His sense of humor a plus!
Real life application. Tax research homework
The web site was excellent. Enjoyed using CCH.
Knowledge of the instructor, he gave a sense that he truly cared whether all the students gained from taking the class.
