What qualities or characteristics helped to make the course instructor effective?

Acct570 was a little hard for me, but I learned a lot. I become familiar with tax concept. Individually, I am really appreciated Prof.Tidd to answer all the time whenever I ask something. He showed me how I prepare class and explained detaily to understand easily. Thank you.

The instructor seemed very knowledgable about the subject. He had real world examples that I found interesting. Being given the excel spreadsheets with the assignments helped to see how others would do the homework. I might not have thought of that method when building a spreadsheet. I found that I usually made things more complicated than I needed. I found that I learned a lot from this class.

Prof. Tidd seems to have calmed down on the sarcasm this quarter, that helped. Because he was tax professional, we benefitted from his experience. Prof. Tidd really made the material easier to comprehend with the use of so many spreadsheets. Thanks for that!!!!

The use of orgazied power point information ahead of time was an asset. I also think that homework assignments that directly related to class discussions made the use of our time more effective. " I didn't feel like it was just busy work!" They were a valuable learning tool.

1- Doing all the work electronically 2- Giving us those unusual and interesting exercises (CCH and Crosswords) 3- His sense of humor 4- Sending the grade reports was very helpful.

everything on the rrtidd.com webpage made things so much easier to access.. i could do my homework in a lot more timely manner when i dont have to write everything in ink, this is because i type faster than i write.
