What qualities or characteristics helped to make the course instructor effective?

The use of the webquest and the computerized responses is great. I don't recommend anyone taking the class without a home computer (off campus). The Lynnwood lab hours during the summer were difficult to meet. I mostly used other computers since my computer at home was down most of the quarter. The laser focus of the instructor is better than the attorney that I worked for in Bellevue who wanted all the research and then he would figure out what to use. It helped me get back on track. I especially liked the problem that included all the different kinds of returns rolling into one. I really gives hands on experience with taxes.

For the tax related class, I think the research methodology is the most important issue. We need to learn how to find valuble information from the tax research network and website since the tax laws will be changed very often. This is one of the best classes I have ever had. It is a very uasful and interesting class.
