Exams

The purpose of the exams is to help you evaluate your comprehension of the material assigned in the daily schedule. Tests also provide incentives for you to stay current with your studies. After taking an exam, you should know how well you can i) use the technical material to solve structured problems and ii) use the frameworks that we discuss in class to solve unstructured problems.

The exams will be given during class on the scheduled date. Each exam will present some combination of true-false, multiple choice, matching, short essay and problem questions. It is my practice to include questions about at least one of the homework assignments in the exam.

Grading will be based on the number of correct answers that you provide. You MAY NOT use your text, a cheat sheet, or any electronic devices, unless one or all have been explicitly authorized, during an exam. Any authorized exam aids may NOT be shared. If your mobile phone rings during an exam, you will receive a 0 for that exam.
