Professional Mission Statement My primary mission is to help my students develop the skills, knowledge, and professional orientation that they need to succeed in a dynamic, information-based society. I will achieve this by assuming and sustaining a leadership role that entails continuously exploring emerging computer technologies, then integrating those that effectively and efficiently enhance the educational process, into my course activities. My secondary mission is to help my academic colleagues develop the skills and knowledge that they need to effectively and efficiently integrate computer technologies into and across the curriculum. I will achieve this by using all available avenues to expeditiously disseminate the knowledge that I gain at every stage of the process of achieving my primary mission. |
